UAV – KZ-6 payload fitted with improvised electric point detonating fuses
In a report published on 10 January 2024, images of the remains of an unexploded KZ-6 demolition shaped charge payload were published online. The device was found fitted with a ZTP-300 delay safety fuse system.
Notably, the impact fuse is comprised of two metallic plates connected to the detonator using white wires at the base and a clothes peg. The delay safety fuse system was intended to be used as a self-destruction mechanism.
The use of clothes pegs is reportedly widely used with conventional land munitions and repurposed to be remotely delivered. Further images show three explosive devices consisting of PG-7 warheads, consisting of a clothes peg connected using white wires. Also seen is a battery and detonator taped at either end.
