Yemen – unsuccessful assassination attempt against Yemeni Armed Forces commander
Brigadier General Abdullah Moazib, commander of the 23rd Mechanized Brigade of the Yemeni Armed Forces, was the target of an attempted assassination attempt on 10 March 2024.
Four IEDs, each with a sensor concealed inside of fabricated rock were planted along the road Moazib was travelling on.
Two of the IEDs functioned, causing damage to a car, whilst the remaining two were successfully defused by Moazib’s guards.
