Yemen – find of RCIED in Mudiyah District

On 4 April 2024, the southern forces found an RCIED in Wadi Matar of the Mudiyah District in Yemen.

The device contains a mixture of TNT and C4, intended to be remotely detonated using a modified handheld radio. Several images of a clear package are pictured, possibly intended to be used as a UVIED.

This comes following news of military operations carried out by the southern forces against members of Al-Qaeda in Mudiyah District during the past months.
