Welcome to EWS Olivia Sharpe

Olivia Sharpe, BA (Hons), Admin Assistant

The EWS team is delighted to give a very warm welcome to Olivia Sharpe who has just joined the company as an Administrative Assistant.

We asked Olivia to tell us about herself and she said: “Hi, I’m Olivia and I am a graduate of The Open University, gaining a BA (Hons) in Business Management.

“Throughout my study and experience I have had the opportunity to split my focus between different areas of business management including, finance, marketing, HR, and international business studies.

“Alongside studying, I previously worked as a retail manager which deepened my knowledge and insight into how a business operates, which I found beneficial when linking that to my degree. I particularly enjoyed a module on ‘International Business Finance and Management’ which broadened my understanding on the different approach with the UK and worldwide.

“I am keen to develop my business knowledge further in my role at EWS, as well as expanding my perspective on the events of the world. As I grow further into the role, I look forward to developing my skills in relation to finance and HR as well as other sectors.

“Outside of work, I am interested in musical theatre and love travelling to London to watch West End shows. I also enjoy travelling and spending time outside with my family.”

Olivia will be supporting Angela Penketh-Robins, EWS’ Business Manager. She said: “EWS is rapidly expanding and we are very happy to have Olivia join our team. Olivia will be working closely with me to provide efficient business support. It’s a pleasure to have her onboard.”
