Russia – UVIED in Moscow

On 24 July 2024 at 06:30 am Andriy Torgashev, the deputy chief of the 89th radio centre of the military satellite communications unit of the Russian Armed Forces, and his wife were injured in an IED blast.

The IED, consisting of approximately 500 grams of TNT was pre-installed underneath the driver’s seat of a Toyota Prado, belonging to Torgashev. The device subsequently detonated when Torgashev got into his vehicle.

CCTV footage has emerged of the IED being installed at 02:28 am. The perpetrator, Evgeny Serebryakov has since been detained in Turkey and claimed responsibility for the attack.
