Ukraine – FPV UAV targeting RuAF soldier

On 5 March 2025, a Russian Armed Forces (RuAF) soldier was hit by a Ukrainian first-person view (FPV) UAV in Toretsk. Attributed to the Drone Unit ‘Gentlemen’ of the Motorised Infantry Battalion from the 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade, FPV footage shows a UAV with the ID ‘UBERDRONE’ targeting a RuAF soldier. Footage emerged showing the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) using a RadioMaster Boxer Transmitter ELRS to control the FPV racing drone, whilst watching the live feed on a portable on-screen display. An additional ISR UAV, from the 206th Battalion of the 241st TDF Brigade, was used to observe the attack.
