Ukraine – Sting UAV intercepts a Shahed 136 UAV equipped with an R-60 missile

On 1 December 2025, UAV manufacturer Wild Hornets stated that a Russian Armed Forces (RuAF) drone had been intercepted using the Sting interceptor UAV.
The company also stated that Darknode Battalion of the 412th Nemesis Brigade intercepted a Shahed-type UAV carrying an air-to-air missile. The missile was identified as an R-60 heat-guided missile, a short-range guided missile with a 6-mile range. Sources stated that the incident marks the first time an R-60 missile has been detected on a Shahed UAV.
