Azerbaijan – find of IEDs
On 19 April 2024, the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) discovered numerous IEDs within close proximity to a wine production factory in Khojavend, Azerbaijan.
Whilst conducting operations, three improvised D1 hand grenades were found. Plus, several safety leavers and 12 x TNT blocks. The devices were successfully defused by ANAMA.
