Colombia – IEDs recovered in El Zulia

The Colombian Army located three IEDs in El Zulia on 24 June 2024. One of the IEDs consisted of a white glyphosate container, with a block of suspected C4 explosives with a safety fuse protruding from the top, attached with black tape.

All three IEDs were rendered safe in a controlled detonation. Although it is unclear who manufactured the IEDs, GAO-r Structure 33 has significant influence in the area.
