India – IEDs and RCIED found in Amritsar

On 14 October 2023, a joint operation conducted by the State Special Operations Cell, Amritsar police along with a central agency resulted in the recovery of two IEDs and an RCIED. The Punjab Police added that they had identified a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) module that was planning on carrying out attacks in Punjab. One of the devices recovered was found wrapped in clear plastic and consisted of a blue cylindrical container along with various BME.
