Jordan – drug smuggling attempt along the Jordan-Syria Border

On 19 August, the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF), intercepted a drug smuggling attempt involving a UAV similar in appearance to the DJI Matrice 350 RTK, along the western border. Unspecified narcotics were discovered in a white container, wrapped in a length of black rope. This event represents the third attempt in August to smuggle drugs into Jordan; the DJI Matrice 350 RTK was also used in an attempt on the 13^th August.
