Kosovo – UVIED in Leposaviq

On 9 April 2024, Kosovo's Minister of Internal Affairs published images of an under-vehicle IED (UVIED) placed beneath a car in the Serbian settlement of Leposaviq.

Sweden has reportedly characterised this action as Serbia's attempt to exert control over the Serbian community in Kosovo.

As a result of rising tensions, numerous threats including the use of explosives have increased in recent months.
