Yemen – IED dismantled in Gul Al-Rayda

On 25 June 2024, an improvised 152 mm projectile was discovered next to the main line near the city of Gul Al-Rayda in the Mayfa’a District, Yemen. Pictured next to the device was a possible stopwatch with an LCD screen, wrapped in black tape with black, red and yellow wires protruding from it.

Lieutenant Colonel Aseel Ahmed bin Rashid, Commander of the 11th Sa’iqa Brigade and Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces in Shabwa Governorate commended the efforts of the engineering team in maintaining security and stability in the area.
