Russia – Ukrainian Armed Forces UAV attack on Novatek Chemical Terminal

On 22 January 2024 at 02:45, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a chemical plant in the Port of Ust-Luga, Russia with UAVs.

Two one-way attack (OWA) UAVs targeted the ‘Novatek’ chemical plant, resulting in one of the gas tanks exploding. No casualties have been reported.

Media sources have reported that the attack has ‘not only inflicted substantial economic harm’ but has also disrupted the fuel supply-chain to the Russian military.
