Ukraine – find of 37 IEDs in Crimea

On 11 December 2023, the Russian FSB showed footage of the detention of 18 agents reportedly from the Ukrainian Special Services network operating in Crimea. The perpetrators had planned to carry out attacks on railways and electrical substations.

In total, 37 IEDs and over 200kg of explosives was seized. Law enforcement officers also discovered an RCIED, concealed within a black container and consisting of a circuit board with a timer and a rechargeable battery. Also found was RC BME, including a receiver with a two-button key fob.
