Israel – OWA UAV in Eilat

On 1 April 2024, at 01:30 am, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) reported a one-way attack (OWA) UAV was launched from Iraq, through Jordan into Eilat, Israel.

As a result, a pier-side structure was damaged, however no injuries were reported.

The intended target is suspected to have been the Sa'ar 6 class corvette, which was docked in Eilat, on the Gulf of Aqaba. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq claimed responsibility for the attack, asserting it was in support of Gaza.
