Malaysia – RCIED found under lawyer’s car in Bangsar

On the 21 July 2023, an RCIED was discovered behind the rear tire of Siti Kasim's car, a Malaysian human rights lawyer and activist in Bangsar, Malaysia. The device consisted of two plastic bottles filled with diesel, cloth, fireworks, batteries, circuits, and various wires. A carabiner was used to attach the IED to the underside of the vehicle.
